Context matters. Users of mobile applications expect to "get in and get out" in completion of a task. The navigation needs to be simple, the context must drive the interaction, the visuals should clearly communicate - all with an absolute lack of screen space. Most importantly, the design must motivate why this information is needed in a mobile format. Andiamo! is a mobile information service designed to help a group of people coordinate activities on the fly. Drawing from the spontaneous, fun and personal nature in which people converse and interact, Andiamo! uses a message feed to facilitate conversations to coordinate and organize events.

In this project, we focused on persona and scenario development to drive a strong need. We wanted to provide the right information at the right time based on the intent of the persona. "Assistive, not invasive" was the goal.
